One of the projects I have been working on was a collaborative piece with Aussie specfic author, Brendan Duffy. This was a great experience, as Brendan is someone’s whose writing I really admire, and I had never attempted anything like this before.

It was a suprisingly smooth process and I was thrilled with the end result. I am happy to announce that our story, “Just Like Cuckoo”, will appear in the upcoming Pill Hill Press anthology, “epocalypse: emails at the end”.

The only disagreement we had was over the title. I wanted “Like a Cuckoo’s Egg in the Nest of my Mind”, but in the end I bowed to Brendan’s seniority.
